What is English Monstruo?
English Monstruo is a mobile App from Cambridge University Press, aimed and designed specifically for Spanish speakers interested in improving their English.

It's based on the most common mistakes (in written language) made by Spanish speakers while learning English.

And how is it possible to know which are the most common mistakes when learning English?
Because Cambridge University Press is the only publisher with access to Corpus, a massive database that collects the mistakes made by Spanish-speaking learners in the thousands of exams held by Cambridge every year.

What level are we talking about?
The so-called "upper intermediate", which serves to prepare for the First Certificate Exam. In any case, regardless of your level, you'll notice that the App is useful to stop making some common mistakes.

Why a monster?
It's a metaphor of Corpus, the database of which we spoke about above. As this database somehow "feeds" on errors, we found it funny turning it into a monster. This monster will tease and challenge you: he is confident that you'll be making mistakes again and again. But as you will see, by practicing, the common statistical errors will disappear.
